Delhi - Kanha - Kawardha - Jaipur - Agra - Delhi 11
Nights – 10 Days
Day 1:Delhi
You will be met on arrival by our representative and
driven to your hotel for overnight stay. If time permits
a short sightseeing tour will be organized of New and
Old Delhi with local English-speaking guide. Overnight
at hotel.
Day 2 :Delhi / Nagpur / Kanha National Park
Early morning transfer to airport for flight to Nagpur.
CD 7469 0540/0830 hrs. On arrival you will be met and
driven (6 hrs) to Kanha National Park. The journey is
through country side and buffer forest of the park. On
arrival in Kanha stay at Lodge.
Day 3 TO 6 :Kanha National Park
Morning and afternoon Jungle excursion with naturalist
by Jeeps / elephants. During your stay a nature walk
will be organized in the buffer zone and also visit to
the local tribal villages. Any one of the afternoons you
can visit the elephant camp and also participate in the
bathing the elephants in the river near the lodge.
Day 7 :Kanha / Kawardha
Morning short jungle excursion. After breakfast drive
(2.5 hrs) to Kawardha Palace. On arrival stay at Palace
Kawardha which is run personally by Yuvraj Yogeshwar Raj
Singh & Yuvrani Kirti Singh in house guest tradition.
The Palace is inspiring monument of the past created by
using Italian marble and stone set in 11 acres of
private gardens. At Kawardha unique magic lies in its
unexpected tranquility, beauty and isolation from
India's well trodden paths hidden Maikal hills in the
middle of India. The area also has fascinating
settlements of Baiga tribal. The 11th Century temples
near Kawardha - Bhoremdeo, Mandwa Mahal and Manda
Manjari Mahal are all comparable to those at Khajuraho
and are believed to be even older then at Khajuraho.
Afternoon explore Kawardha. Overnight Kawardha Palace.
Day 8 :Kawardha / Raipur / Delhi / Jaipur
Early morning drive to Raipur ( 2.5 hrs) to take flight
to Delhi. On arrival drive (4 hrs) to Jaipur and stay at
Hotel.(Additional cost stay at the magnificent Rambagh
Palace or luxurious Raj Vilas ).Overnight at Hotel.
Day 9 :Jaipur
Morning excursion to Amber fort followed by city
sightseeing. Evening at leisure. Car and driver at
disposal for local use. Overnight Hotel.
Day 10 :Jaipur / Agra
Morning drive to Agra. En route visit Bharatpur Bird
Sanctuary and the deserted city of Moghul emperor
Fatehpur Sikri. Along with Taj Mahal both of these sites
are UNESCO world heritage sites. On arrival stay at
Hotel.
Day 11 :Agra / Delhi / London
Morning sightseeing of Agra visit the Taj Mahal and Agra
Fort. Afternoon drive (4.5 hrs) to Delhi. On arrival
rooms will be reserved for you till departure at hotel
near the airport. Late evening transfer to airport for
flight to London.
